Greetings Nick,
I am requesting your approval to use the offline DSA
experience for a single event for the above-mentioned Customer/Quote. Please
review the case and business justification below for this request.
Sales Leader - By REPLYING APPROVED, you are agreeing to
the following conditions:
• You understand this is an offline Process (Downloaded
Quote or Offline PO) • You believe there is no current online path for this
deal or order.
• You intend to engage as the leader to establish action
plans to transition this customer online.
Sales Team – Account Details below:
· List out the
actions taken to-date to transition the Customer/Partner Online.
o Customer uses the Ariba portal,
however, integration is still underway as it has not been vetted by the
customer. As well, some divisions/ branches still use hardcopy Pos
and have not been cleared to use B2B or Premier for ordering due to security
concerns.
· What are the
current reasons delaying the Customer/Partner Online from transacting online?
o Primarily security concerns coupled
with the fact that they use Ariba for most order processing, Which is actively
being worked.
· List and/or
attach the documentation preventing the customer from transacting online (i.e.
details of process, legal, security, etc..)
o Attached PO details security
restrictions in the fine print.
· Has Dell's Online
value proposition been presented to the customer? Has the OBM team been
engaged?
o Yes, we are working on the transition
actively.
· Have you
positioned online alternatives like PQTO as a solution to the customer?
o Not currently viable as Premier and
QTO have not been vetted as secure by the customer.
